Arakaki Yoshinori opened the family's first sweet shop in 1908, and Mapple says the head of this house today comes from his direct line and keeps the recipe unchanged. The shop is about 230 m from Gibo station on the Yui Rail. Tabelog reviews from May 2026 include a customer who ordered 50 pieces, so call ahead for a large order. The shop closes on Saturdays, so save a weekend Shuri walk for the Sunday.
What to order
- Plain or kokuto chinsuko
- Hana-bōru, the other court sweet on the shelf
