Shuri Horikawa sits in the residential lanes below Shuri Castle, so it pairs easily with a morning at the castle. The kitchen makes fresh hand-cut noodles and a light broth from Yanbaru shima-buta pork bones simmered for a full day and blended with bonito, according to its Tabelog listing. The sooki and green onion come on the side so you add them as you go. House-made tofu is the speciality, and the tofu sooki soba set at ¥1,600 in July 2026 came with enough sides that a Tabelog reviewer called it a huge meal.

There is no car park of its own, though Tabelog lists discounted parking at En Park Shuri and the Shurijo-mae lot. The tofu was off the menu over New Year 2026, per lunches.jp, so ask at the door if you came for it.
