Shuri Soba is a 24-seat Okinawa soba shop in Shuri Akata-cho, Naha, where a medium bowl of its one house soba cost ¥500 in September 2026. It opens 11:00–14:00 or until the noodles run out, and it shuts on Thursdays and Sundays.

Shuri Soba has cooked out of the Gallery Shiroma building in Akata-cho since 1999, according to Tabelog, and the menu is short. There is one soba in three sizes, and juushii (Okinawan seasoned rice) and a nitsuke plate of simmered dishes come on the side. Tabelog reviewers call the firm noodles wasshiwashi. The word describes noodles you have to bite through, though one September 2026 reviewer back after five years found them a little softer than before.
Lines form before opening on weekdays too, and an August 2026 reviewer waited about 20 minutes behind five groups. By about 12:30 on a busy July 2026 day the nitsuke and plain rice had sold out. The old car park in front is now a Mitsui Repark coin lot, so walk up from the Yui Rail or ride in.
What to order
- Shuri soba, medium or large
- Juushii and the nitsuke plate
Worth knowing
- Arrive at 11:00 if you want the nitsuke, which sells out first.
- Finish with a cold Okinawa zenzai, which Tabelog reviewers ordered after their soba in July 2026.
