Shima Ryori Isun is a Kubura izakaya three minutes' walk from Yonaguni's fishing port, closed for a break from October to the end of December 2026.
Isun is the dinner Yonaguni's Tabelog reviewers rate highest, 3.43 in October 2026, and in 2024 and 2025 they complained mostly about how hard it is to book. Since February 2020 it has served a 'shima gozen', a set of eight to ten dishes built on local produce, and the tourism association recommends the marlin belly sashimi. The association's page says the restaurant is closed from October to the end of December 2026, so check its reopening before you plan a February dinner around it.
