The Dr. Koto Clinic Set in Higawa is the open-air clinic built for Fuji TV's drama 'Dr. Koto Shinryojo', open 9:00–18:00 daily for ¥300 on the beach of Yonaguni's south-coast village.
The set was built more than 20 years ago for the drama series that ran from 2003 to 2006, made to look old from the day it went up, and the story returned as a film in December 2022. The clinic still stands on the sand at Higawa with its fittings in place, and the village co-op store manages it and takes enquiries. Higawa beach runs out on either side of it.
