Abyan Yonaguni Guesthouse Kubura

Abyan keeps nine room-only rooms in the fishing village of Kubura at Yonaguni's western tip. The walls are Ryukyu lime plaster, and every room has air conditioning and a dehumidifier. Doors lock from inside with a guard and have no outer key. The kitchen, toilets, showers and laundry are shared.

Book the free shower after check-out and you can rinse off before a late flight. The owners also run rental cars, according to the Yonaguni tourism association, and Rakuten lists a pickup bus.
