Azama Port in Chinen, Nanjo, is the departure point for Kudaka Kaiun's boats to Kudaka-jima, six round trips a day in 15–25 minutes, with a ticket office open 8:00–17:30 and a car park.
Azama is about 50 minutes' drive from Naha Airport by the Kudaka island site's reckoning. By public transport, the island site sends you by Yui Rail to Asahibashi, then on bus route 38 for Shikiya from the Naha Bus Terminal, about an hour, to Azama Sun Sun Beach Iriguchi and a five-minute walk. The site warns that the bus runs only once every one or two hours.
