Tokashiki's two village boats make an easy day trip from Naha. The Marine Liner leaves Tomari at 9:00 and lands at 9:40, and in winter its last boat back leaves Tokashiki at 17:00. Ferry Tokashiki is the slower boat and runs once a day. Until the end of February it leaves Naha at 10:00 and starts back at 15:30.
Fares went up on 1 October 2026. The high-speed one-way rose from ¥2,530 to ¥3,300, and the ferry from ¥1,690 to ¥2,200. A bike costs ¥330 one way on the ferry. The Marine Liner takes one only when it's folded or dismantled and bagged.
The Marine Liner Tokashiki is out of service from 1 to 11 December 2026, so plan early-December trips around the ferry. Tokashiki Village's wave limits are 3 m for the Marine Liner and 4 m for the ferry. A morning check of the portal at 8:00 tells you which boats are running.
