Okinawa-born Kohei Uchima competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics and now leads this four-day lap of the island for Giant Japan's touring arm. The group leaves Tomari Ryokuchi in Naha at 08:00 on 10 December and comes back around 17:00 on the 13th, with a support van carrying the bags and a mechanic on hand. The organizer calls the route a stretch for beginners and asks for riders who already manage 100 km days in a group.
The price covers three nights of hotels, breakfasts and dinners, lunch on each riding day and the snacks in between. You can bring any bike you like, or rent a GIANT road bike for the whole tour. An extra day on 14 December adds a Tokashiki trip by ferry for snorkelling or a guided e-bike ride.
