Kanucha spreads over a headland at Abu on the east side of Nago, with a golf course, a beach and eight lodging buildings holding 265 rooms and villas. Families get the Kanucha Aqua Park and a water kids' garden in season, plus parasailing and banana boats off the beach. Stargazing walks and a Yanbaru zipline run from the resort, and some rooms take dogs. A concert on 19 December 2026 is on the winter calendar.
The Rainforest indoor pool opens in every season for a fee, from 10:00 to 22:00, and becomes a night pool after 19:00. For riders the east coast is the reason to come, with Route 331 running north from the resort to Higashi and the Yanbaru forest. The hotel rents bicycles for a gentler day. Ask where your own bike can be kept.
