RISONARE Kohamajima is a 60-suite Hoshino Resorts beach resort on Kohama, ten minutes by shuttle from the port, with Japan's south-westernmost golf course next door.

Hoshino Resorts runs RISONARE Kohamajima as a small resort on a big site: 60 suites, most of them villas, along a wide private beach. The Premium Villas come with a Jacuzzi. A Book & Café looks over the sand, and the grounds take in the Kohama Island Country Club, which is Japan's south-westernmost golf course. There's an infinity pool.
The shuttle bus from Kohama port takes ten minutes and needs no booking; the ferry from Ishigaki takes about 25. Rental bicycles cost extra. For 15 February 2027 Jalan listed a special-week room-only rate at ¥38,610 for two, against ¥59,400 standard.
