Sunmarina has 228 rooms and its own beach at Fuchaku in the middle of the Onna resort coast. Its outdoor garden pool was renewed in March 2017, with a 30-centimetre kids' pool beside the main one. The Mega Zip line flies guests over the grounds. Activities run from marine trips to rainy-day options indoors.
In winter the garden pool is closed until late March, and the paid indoor pool and large bath in the Nuchigusui wellness building are the places to swim and soak. The Churaku Spa and the family baths there have been closed for maintenance, so check before you count on them. Route 58 runs past the entrance for rides north to Maeda or south toward Yomitan. Ask the hotel about keeping a bike.
