Southern Beach Hotel & Resort Okinawa

This is the big family resort of the south, with 448 rooms on the Nishizaki shore of Itoman and Mibi Beach a minute's walk away. The airport is about 20 minutes by car, a taxi runs about ¥2,500, and a route bus connects the hotel with the airport and Kokusai-dori. Weekend eisa and other events run all year. Guest parking costs ¥550 a night.

February guests swim indoors, since the 70-metre garden pool and its rainbow slide stay closed until late March. The hotel rents bicycles and has a paid drying room, both handy for a ride down the coast toward Kyan Point and the Peace Memorial Park. A reviewer on Jalan found one rental with a weak brake in July 2026, so test yours in the car park first.
