Itoman Gyomin Shokudo is a fishermen's diner in Nishizaki, Itoman, the fishing town south of Naha, that serves lunch and dinner and closes on Tuesdays.
Itoman's fishermen once sailed sabani canoes as far as the South Seas, and this diner on the Nishizaki side of town is named for them. It seats 40 at tables and on raised tatami platforms. Cards are accepted, and ten cars fit in the lot beside it.
Lunch runs 11:30 to 15:00 and dinner from 18:00, which suits a ride down the west coast from Naha, and Michi-no-Eki Itoman's fish counters are a few minutes' walk away. Tuesdays it is shut.
