The Rescape sits on the quiet east coast at Nagama in Gusukube, 15 minutes from Miyako Airport and 45 from Shimojishima. Each of its 38 rooms has a private pool looking over the eastern sea, and there's a shared pool as well. Evenings bring a barbecue and a marshmallow night.
In February the hotel sells cheaper plans with the pools left at ambient temperature, which means unheated. Jalan listed that breakfast plan at ¥39,000 for two for 15 February 2027. The short-course dinner plan with breakfast was ¥59,000. The long cape of Higashi-Hennazaki at Miyako's eastern tip is a short drive away.
Highlights
- Every room has its own pool
- The rooms look over the eastern sea
Worth knowing
- Check whether your February plan includes a heated pool; the cheaper winter plans don't.
