Boo no Ie is a small café in Funauki, the village with no road on Iriomote's south-west coast; it sits three minutes' walk from the ferry pier and serves a wild-boar menu from 9:00 to 17:00.
You reach Boo no Ie by boat: the Funauki Kaiun crossing from Shirahama takes about ten minutes, and the café is a three-minute walk from the pier. A July 2024 Tabelog reviewer found a menu of wild boar only, and the most recent review is from May 2025, so check with the café or the boat office before you plan lunch around it. Its terrace makes a pause on the way to Ida-no-hama. Cash only.
