A slow Naha morning by share bike
recoveryAnyone on a first morning in Naha or a rest day between big rides: a flat hour on a Churachari e-bike past the beach at Naminoue and the garden at Fukushuen.
This slow Naha morning rides the 6.5 km waterfront loop on a Churachari share e-bike from Palette Kumoji to Naminoue Beach, Naminoue-gu and Fukushuen, with lunch in Wakasa and dinner in Sakaemachi.

Naha is busy, but its seafront is easy, and a share e-bike from the Churachari dock at Palette Kumoji gets you to the harbour in minutes. The loop is the one Okinawa's tourism bureau suggests for seeing the city by bike, and it is gentle enough for a first morning or a rest day between big rides.
Plan it around the closing days. Tasokare Coffee shuts on Thursdays and Sundays, Fukushuen on Wednesdays and Takara Shokudo on Thursdays, so a Monday, Tuesday, Friday or Saturday keeps every stop open. Urizun in Sakaemachi opens every evening for awamori and Okinawan small plates.
