Chinen Misaki Park

A path runs from the car park out across grass to the end of the headland, with red-tiled shelters on the way and the reef spreading below the cliff. Kudaka sits low on the horizon to the east, and Komaka, a small uninhabited island with a white beach, lies closer in.

Most people come as an add-on to Sefa-utaki, whose tickets are sold at the products centre in front of the park. Give it more time at dawn, when the light comes up behind Kudaka, the island where Ryukyu myth says the creator goddess Amamikiyo came down to begin making the land.
