Shima-yado Ganjuya rents two traditional red-tile cottages on Taketomi, each with an open-air bath in its garden, and lends free bicycles to every guest.
Ganjuya takes two groups a day in two traditional red-tile houses called Fuuya and Toora. Each has an open-air bath in its own garden for soaking under the stars. Mr and Mrs Uchimori own the place and run Parlour Ganjuya next door. Every guest gets a free bicycle, with children's bikes too, and beach gear from towels to sandals. The self-service coin laundry is free.
The pier is 15 minutes away on foot, and the free pickup runs from 10:30 once you phone with your boat time. For 15 February 2027 Jalan listed Toora with breakfast at ¥59,400 for two.
