Teedun is Taketomi's own name for the island, and shidamee means snail, because the owners want guests to take their time. The original mozuku soba took the grand prix for original soup soba at the second Yaeyama soba championship, and the tourism association says islanders eat here too. Lunch runs only until 14:00, and dinner needs a same-day booking.
