Everything a visitor needs sits close to the bridge: the beach, the Kouri Fureai Hiroba car park with toilets and paid showers, and the lunch places. The district keeps its own rituals, and in 2025 its Unjami sea-god ceremony fell on 15 September as part of the village harvest festivals.
Lunch is the event here. Shirasa serves sea urchin on rice, the Kouri Shrimp truck does garlic shrimp, and the roadside station Sorahashi gathers local produce and a food court.
