Minata Beach
皆田海岸27°03′ N 128°27′ EBeach
Minata Beach on Yoron's north-east coast faces the islet of Minata-banare, which you can walk out to at low tide, and serves as a base for sea kayak and snorkel tours and one of the Yurigahama boat departures.
Minata's view is the islet just offshore, Minata-banare, which you can reach on foot when the tide is out. The water here is clear and deep blue, and the marine shops run sea kayaks and snorkel trips from the beach, as well as boats to Yurigahama. An outdoor shower and toilets stand behind the sand, but parking is tight.
