Ganso Nakamoto Tempura is a fish shop by the Ojima bridge in Nanjo that sells Okinawan tempura from ¥100 a piece, open 10:30–18:00 except on Thursdays.

Nakamoto stands at the island end of the Ojima bridge, in front of the fishing port, a plain fish shop with a big tempura sign. Okinawan tempura is sold by the piece, and the regular fillings here are fish, squid, mozuku and a vegetable fritter. Rurubu's write-up says the pick is the fish of the season, and around March a limited batch of aasa, the local sea lettuce, comes in.
Pieces start at ¥100 and are often hot from the fryer. It is the obvious snack stop on the Route 331 coast ride, and Ohshiro Tempura is a short ride around the island if the queue is long.
