Grandmother Hatsuko founded Nitta-so, and her son Nagafumi and his wife run it now. Seven Japanese rooms open onto a breezy corridor in the red-tile village. Dinner fills the table with vegetables from the family plot, and when the boats bring something in, fish comes as sashimi.
The Taketomi tourism association listed ¥8,500 per person with two meals and ¥5,500 room only in January 2026. Air conditioning and the washing machine are coin-operated, and the hair dryer is on loan. The port is five minutes by car or 15 on foot, and the minshuku picks you up if you book.
