Tsuchi Kaoru

The owner writes that the kitchen shops at farm stands and cooks by the old Okinawan saying that food is kusuimun, or medicine, so the menu follows what growers bring in. The ¥6,000 Chura-shima course runs to nine dishes: four small starters, jimami tofu, a sashimi plate, duruten with chikiagi fish cake, champuru, rafute, mozuku in vinegar, tonfan pork rice and sata andagi to finish.

Awamori has its own page on the restaurant's site, where the list runs from light new spirit to heavy kusu. A July 2026 Tabelog reviewer praised how carefully it is chosen. Plates and cups come from Okinawan craftspeople. The restaurant turns away guests wearing strong perfume or fabric softener so the food's aroma comes through, and it does not admit children below middle-school age.
