The fleet is city bikes in 22 and 26 inches, 20-inch kids' bikes and bikes with front or rear child seats, with no e-bikes or tandems. Helmets cost ¥500 and run short, so bring one if you can.
The shop stands two minutes on foot from the Nagomi tower and two doors from Kihoin temple, with bike parking and a corner for suitcases. Kondoi Beach is about 10 minutes away by bike, and the star-sand beach at Kaiji takes about 15. Tell the shuttle driver at the port you're renting from Nitta, and expect the bus to skip a few sailings.
