Maeda

Maeda is the district at the southern end of Onna around Cape Maeda, the jumping-off point for the Blue Cave snorkel and dive site. Bus 120 from Naha Airport stops at Kurawa, about 20 minutes' walk away.
Most visitors to Maeda only see the cape, with its clifftop car park and the long stairs down to the Blue Cave. From February to the end of March, humpbacks sometimes show offshore. Onna's tourism association asks visitors not to park on the village's farm roads.
