Mochi no Mise Yamaya is a mochi shop in the Suijo Tenpo building by the Makishi market in Naha that sells leaf-wrapped muuchii year-round from 9:00 to 18:30.

Supermarkets stock muuchii in the days around Muuchii day in January, and Yamaya keeps it on the counter all year. Mapple lists many flavours along with fuchagi (mochi rolled in red beans), and a September 2026 Tabelog reviewer bought muuchii here. On a February 2027 trip you arrive after Muuchii day on 15 January, and this counter is where to try one.
