Kishimoto Shokudo in Toguchi, Motobu, has served Okinawa soba since 1905 and closes on Wednesdays and whenever the noodles run out.

Kishimoto has made its noodles with water strained through wood ash since the Meiji era, and they come firm and chewy under sweet-simmered pork belly in a dashi broth. The whole menu is soba in two sizes plus juushii. Tabelog reviewers in autumn 2026 arrived half an hour before opening and still found people ahead of them, and one noted staff helping overseas guests in English. A reviewer who came just before 16:00 on a September Tuesday walked straight in, so the late slot is the one to aim for on a ride day.
The Yaedake branch about 1.5 km east serves the same soba with its own car park, and an October 2026 reviewer found no wait there while the Toguchi line ran long. Arakaki Zenzai-ya sits a few steps away for shaved ice after.
