Okinawa Ringyo, which calls itself Okinawa's largest bicycle specialist, rents GIANT and Anchor road bikes from ¥4,400 a day (2026) out of its Haebaru workshop 25–30 minutes by car from Naha Airport, and takes English bookings by email.
If you want a proper road bike on Okinawa and don't want to fly one in, start here. The rental fleet runs from an all-road GIANT Contend with 32 mm tires to carbon TCR and Langma frames on Shimano 105, each one sized to your height with a helmet and lights included. Staff set your saddle height before you leave, and they'll fit your own pedals if you bring them.
The main counter is a short drive inland from Naha in Haebaru, and its workshop has five qualified mechanics and a ¥300 shower for riders coming back sweaty. The second shop sits five minutes on foot from Miebashi monorail station in Maejima and can hand bikes over if you book five business days ahead. Delivery anywhere on the island is priced by distance, which makes a one-way start in Nago or Motobu possible.
Much of the island's club riding goes through this shop. The Okinawa Cycling Association's monthly Sunday ride is booked at the Haebaru counter, and the rental tent at the Tour de Okinawa in Nago belongs to Okinawa Ringyo. Book early for the first ten days of November, when race entrants get first call on the fleet.

- Delivery

- One-way
- Collect and return at either the Haebaru shop or the Maejima shop in Naha. Maejima needs five business days' notice and handles at most four bikes a day.
- Pedals
- Flat pedals as standard. Bring your own and staff fit and remove them; Shimano clipless pedals are on sale. No pedal or shoe rental.

- Email rental@okirin.com with each rider's height, the bike, dates and pick-up shop. English email bookings are accepted; staff cannot take calls in English. Pay in advance at the counter and show photo ID; a passport is on the accepted list. If no reply arrives within 48 hours, the shop asks you to email again.

Rental moved to the Haebaru shop from 1 March 2026 and the Maejima annex closed on 28 February 2026. Personal accident cover costs ¥220 a day and only for helmet wearers. Rear rack ¥1,100 and 37 L panniers ¥880 for the first day on cross bikes and the 2x8 road bike. Tour de Okinawa entrants get priority from 1 to 10 November 2026. Haebaru has a shower for ¥300. The shop's booking system also handles rental bikes for Sugar Ride Kumejima.
Worth knowing
- Email in English and list every rider's height in centimetres; the shop sizes bikes from that.
- Carbon and 105 road bikes come with clinchers and through-axles, so carry the tool kit they lend and learn the wheel removal at pick-up.
- Ask for the cardboard sheets they keep for riders who want to load bikes into a rental car without scuffing the interior.
