Hentona is the main settlement of Kunigami village on Route 58, where the village office and a fishing port sit beside the last shops of any size before Cape Hedo.

The village office stands at Hentona 121, and the settlement around it has the school and the clinic, with the fishing port on the shore. A few minutes south, Okuma holds Michi-no-eki Yuiyui Kunigami and the resort beach.
Riders heading north should treat Hentona and Okuma as the place to stock up. Beyond them the coast road runs past Ginama and Kayauchi Banta to Cape Hedo with little on the way.
